Just thought i’d drop in and let you know that this blog is still up and running , although it isnt getting updated as regular as it did for a number of reasons..
The main one is that I havent been in-world as much as usual the last couple of months .. I have a gig every Tuesday @ Melodies at 12pm Slt but apart from that I’m not usually logging in much.
My PC has developed a problem with random reseting and as we all know SL can be a pain in the ass a lot of the time without having to be putting up with crap from ya PC as well.
All my land was sold and I only really pop in-world for gigs at the moment until I get this sorted.
But once sorted I will be able to book more gigs and hopefully be able to get more time in-world as well.
Until then i’l try and drop the odd post in here about gigs!
*Click* ……. Thats all it took.. One click of the left mouse and everything in the Marmite Isle was returned!!!!!!….I thought about it for a second then…. F*^K IT…hahaha… although I have to say.. once it was flat and there was nothing there I did start to think “What the fook have i done!!”
I returned everything and flattened all the land to water level so I had a blank Canvas to start from.. as some of you already know I get bored really quickly and the sim just seemed to have random stuff scattered all over so I thought it was about time it had a proper theme to it!!

I started off with the terraforming .. basically ive made a landing point on the sim low down near the water at one end and with a moat around and then nearly half of the sim risen up high which youll see is where the castle walls and castle have been started and i also added some new textures to the ground to make it look a little more rocky and grim.

Then it was adding a swing bridge across from the landing point over to the main part of the sim, some steps up to the correct level and then the boundary walls and gates.. oh and some old dead trees and rocks for down at the landing teleport point.

I then started having a doodle on a bit of paper for the main castle and came up with the idea of having one main floor with rooms sprouting off then two levels being open air with out walls and finally some kind of towers on the top. So I started building from the floor up while fio decided to try her inworld sculpty thingy to make me some odd looking trees…. (which turned out to be arty spinny things…good choice of words Gazza…hahahha)

Also while building the castle Hugh turned up and decided to try his hand at building too … and ended up with a big shiny testicle? .. when i asked him what it was he said.. “Shag… I seem to have dropped a bollock!” hahahahhaha
I added a trough full of blood that runs up from the castle all the way out to the garden area where theres gona be a big pool .. then it was time for beddy byes for Mr.Spyker ….

Next up was my live Gig inworld at Melodies at 7pm which all went well and was the first time I had played there.. I was surprised when both of the Tom Boys, Daz and Flinty managed to jump into Sl for the gig and Flinty (Hugh Deezul) seems to be poppin about more and more … They both had there Stolen Tom hats on which Fluffy must have passed on then we shot off to Gazza Sigals to chill in his new boat and pool.. Cheers gazza for passing the beers about!! Heres some pics from Melodies and the last picture il let you work out for yourself but Hugh looks very suspicious if you ask me!!
A few updates to add this time round.. first of all the Clear Blue Skies gig went great down at Casablanco so thanks to all who turned up and helped with the event.. and to Clear Blue skies and Fluffy for making this possible. Heres a video of the event below with a couple of songs ..
..also a really big thanks go to Robert69 Little for creating this video .. Robert is one of the best live music Filmers in SL and is an allround great guy so if you need some Machinima doing in world… dont be shy to check him out!!

Dementia
First up is ive now added to the outdoors of Dementia.. some gravestones, Bloodwell and a big ugly old tree.. the usual nice stuff hahahhaha! … so heres a few pics from outside!!

Also added a nice little chilling place out the back of the land with a little hut looking out onto the sea, loadsa photos from times throughout my SL life and a belta little floating platform with some beach towels and A SPONGEBOB PILLOW!! weehoo!! hahaha.. I happened to fly over somewhere and spongbob caught my eye so i had to have it.. heheheh!! shaggy starts singing “Spongebob squarepantz,Spongebob squarepantz”

Next up is my Sky platform.. I built this for my Awesome new Dragon Av.. which you can see below!!
Me n Fluff and new found Dragon buddys!!
Me ‘n’ Fluff were on a wandering mission about SL looking for random places and came across Aggro … A sim built for Dragons and also sells the best Dragon Avatars ive seen in Secondlife… We ended up chatting with Fenix odriscoll and a freind of his … , Felix was a Dragon and protector of this gal who was chilling on the back of a Tiger..
So Fio ended up buying me the Ancient Dragon av as a gift….. ( because i dont have many av’s…hahhaha) .. which was HUGGEEE!! and I ended up flying about all night and also trying to burn down someones house (which was all harrys idea!!) ..
The next day I started on the Sky platform on the sim so i had somewhere for the dragon to hang about!! … and with a little help from a guy on SL about sculpty mega prims.. i managed to end up with this!!

Ive also had a few gigs too over the weeks… and another at harries place went great as usual and filled the sim .. also we’ve got a few new geordies arrived on SL to help take over the place.. Hugh and Varesy joined and came along to the Gig at Pixel Hill and then we all went off to Gazza Sigals Woods to have a Melon Fight….hahahaha.. although Gazza seemed to have a bit of an advantage as we had melon launchers and gazza was shooting exploding tips from a bow n arrow?? hahahaah
For some reason at one point Hugh ended up naked with a beer floating around on a rubber ring.. ????????? Strange boy he is.. fits right in with the rest of em..hahahahah!!

Some great news in for this time round… as Ive managed to pull in a few favours and get the brilliant band “Clear Blue Skies” from the UK to come in and do an acoustic set streaming from my house… into SL.

Clear Blue Skies are a massively established band throughout the UK and have played along side some of the biggest names in the music business…. not to mention played on T4 and channel 4 on TV and have released 6 albums.. which are available worldwide throughout big CD stores such as HMV.
The Duo will be streaming into Fluffy Forwzys Club Casablanco on Friday the 13th of February. The time slot will be from 10am – 12pm SL time and Il be streaming with them so it looks as if il be doing 30 mins then an hour from Clear Blue Skies then the last 30 mins of me again..
This is awesome for the SL music scene and il hopefully be bringing a few other big names in every couple of month if this one goes well.. which i already have lined up.

Next update is a quick blog on my sim and how the buildings coming along…
First of all ive turned the little boat dock into a pirate bar called “Shaggys Shack of Scurvys” for chillin at and added the 7seas fishing vendor there so you can fish off the dock! Heres some snapshots from the bar me wee land luvvarrs!!

….. and the next thing ive added to the sim is… DEMENTIA!!
Dementia was an old venue i built on another plot of land .. and I missed it so much that ive decided to rebuild it at my new sim… The main building is now up and ive added some of the old stuff inside… now i just need to add the graveyard and such around the land outside the doorway.. heres some photos of DEMENTIA!!! Muuuhahahhahaahahah!

So there ye have it… plenty going on at the moment in-world and cant wait for the big gig!!
Its been nearly a year now since shagpile spyker was born into the world of Secondlife and soon itll be my Rez-day..
It doesnt feel like a year since I found SL but when I consider all the places and things ive done on there, it sounds and feels like its been a lot longer.. just to name a few, building Four different venues..(“Dementia” being my favourite)… the medieval castle .. shaggys medieval shops.. shaggys shop of horrors.. bought 4 different plots of land.. also the rented beach property I had..and now finally ive ended up with a Sim which im playing around with.. which I called The Marmite Isle , this is where im busy building the house and motel from the movie psycho.
…also through out the time in SL ive managed to collect quite a few AV’s and cant help myself buying new ones… some cool, some weird and some just not right!! hahhahaha .. so i thought i’d drop some of my old photos from SL on here to remember some of the weird and wonderful faces that shaggy sometimes has the tendency to transform into.. so here you go!!

YOOHOO!! Shaggy here with a couple of things to tell ya … The first one is that ive been playing around with Machinima(Video recording and movie making) in SL since Friday and trying to work out how to create videos for the blog.
I had a bash at creating a little music video to go along side my track “Young” from my new album..
Just a quickie so i could get used to how you go about recording and editing but it turned out cool so heres a little peaky at it!!
Me and Gazza sigal was also playing around at the Marmite Isle and Gazza was showing me his new Watersports Toys.. so I decided to make a quick video of that too while proceeded to torture me at silly speeds into bridges rocks and mountains… hahahah.. Good driving Gazza!!
.. as you can probably tell theres been too much playing and no work so I dont have any building updates for you on the pshycho house…. but I did have a gig at CASABLANCO on Friday and the theme for fluffy fridays was “Vicars & Nuns” so il get the photos up from that soon …
Oh.. one more thing.. Casablanco now has an awesome new website up and running and you can check out updates from the Fluffy Fridays and gig schedules so you can find out if im playing there on fridays and see what the lineup is…. the homepage address is below so pop by and check out the place.. its looking great!
…. Two updates today … the first one being the gig at harries place last night..
It was great to finally get back to The Jester Inn at Pixel Hill … this place is one of my favourite venues in Secondlife and Harrie always gives a warm welcome to artists throughout SL and has some of the best live music events held there…
… The venue is placed on the side of a hill and they did a great job on the whole look of the place … when you switch to midnight it looks great through the crazy windows …..
……. The gig was great , as it always is down at Pixel Hill even though I crashed twice for some strange reason, I couldn’t rez my tipjar and some strange looking plonker was crying for chasing cars and cake all the way through… ??? Dont ask!! There is some really strange folk about SL.

.. The next update is couple of things I managed to get done back at the sim… The set is starting to look pretty good and ive now added the famous Icebox from Psycho III (just need a bloody arm to throw in there..muuhahahaha) and some rubbish about the place..
…… also added a few trees to fill out the place a little but they were all i had at the time so until i gett the chance to either make some or find some more suited to the place.. these will do for now……

Well thats all from Mr.Spyker for now … and no SL for me tonight as im off to RL band practice.. also its gona be a slow weekend as im gigging RL on Saturday and Sunday.. but hopefully might squeeze a set in on Friday at Club Casablanco… Tadaaaaaaaaaaa for nowww!!
Ok ..so i managed to jump on SL for a couple of hours last night and decided first things first I was gona stop by at Liverpool at the Cavern Club build in SL to check it out as I have a RL gig at the Cavern next year and cant wait…
They made a great job of the street and club and i took a photo of me jammin on the stage …
… once i dragged myself away from there it was time to crack on with the build over at Bates Motel….
I had a quick play around with the land a bit more and added the textures to the roof and windows.. also added the textures to the inside of the main room where the famous shower scene took place!!!
The place is actually starting to look like something now and a bit creepy too with the lights at night! Heres a closer picture of the sign and the inside of the motel room!
..also while i was building away mrs.forwzy was lying about making a nuisance of herself so I asked if she wanted to build anything for the rooms or set.. so she decided to make a suitcase?? hahha. ( If she hadnt told me i dont think i would have guessed what it was..pmsl) … anyways.. heres her finished fabulous funky suitcase from the simpsons…hahahhahaa.. and I still think it looks like the evil TV from Willow the wisp.. hahah
…….. hahhaha … anyways il leave ya with a couple of pics from inside the Old House as most of that is now textured up too…..
……. I think that will be the main room for Normans mother… Ive still got loads to do so hopefully might get an hour or two tonight if little Olly doesnt take a wobbler all night.. hahhaha … Cyaaaaas!!
Yup its monday morning… and ive got the working blues to kick me off today ( seem to have them a lot lately .. hahha) .. just a couple of quick updates on this weeks escapades in SL and how the buildings coming along!
First of all thanks to everyone that turned up at the Gig on wednesday at “The Drunken Drow” and thanks to Raredread Nightfire for booking me…..
Had a great time even if i was hungover and half drunk at the same time from the night before’s RL gig.. hahhahaha..

.. next up is a couple of updates on the Psycho House and Motel from the movie..
I managed to get the outside all textured up and added the walls inside for rooms and stairs on saturday….
…. then on sunday linked up the building moved it about a bit, terraformed the land and added the steps… unfortunately in the linking part something went a little bit haywire.. first of all i deleted the rear section then managed to find that and then deleted the complete center part of the house..
Why is it when something goes wrong and ya panicing like hell .. theres always someone ready to take a pic and send you it??
So after I did my panicing and runnin round like a mad man i managed to sort it but heres a photo of it when it *poofed* ….Thanks Fluff hahah
…………… I then managed to finally get a start on the motel … and added main structure down.. unfotunately by this time my eyes were closing and my brain wasnt working… so off to bed i toddled and left the place like this..
Hopefully il be able to grab a little time on there tonight and get most of the motel sorted … so until the next update… Ciaoooo!!

I Decided on the first build for the sim with a little help from fluffy … and this is gona be the house and motel from the old classic horror movie “Phsycho” .. so i delved about on the internet and found some pictures from the set and stuff to work off.. heres a couple i picked out!
So off I went and flattened a piece of land in the corner of the sim and started building!
The main outer shell is now down and the doors and windows added… so i can try out a couple of textures on the house.. then to start on the inside if everything looks ok! Heres a picture of the shell!
I also listed a couple of things from the movie, that should be added to the motel and house..
The Bates Motel Sign, The Car with body in the back for the motel, mothers shadow he kept seeing up at the window from outside, the icebox outside the motel with the blood and body in, Normans mother in the chair dead!! . The famous shower curtain scene with the shadow.. and im sure the list will get longer and longer as I think of things!!
Anyways.. Until the next time i get a chance to work on it as ive got to go see to mother… duno why she keeps calling me Norrrrrrrmaaaaaaaaan??
